This initiative, implemented with the support of the <strong>European Union<\/strong> and the <strong>German Government<\/strong>, marked a significant step toward integrating Ukrainian companies into European business networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of <strong>nine leading Ukrainian textile companies<\/strong> participated in the program:<br><strong>PJSC \u201cEdelvika\u201d, K.Tex LLC, PJSC \u201cUzhhorod Garment Factory\u201d (TM Parada), ANNABO, Spunrise LLC, LLC \u201cVG Holding\u201d, Sumykamvol LLC, PE TIS Group Promin<\/strong>, and <strong>LLC \u201cVARNO\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With guidance from international mentors <strong>Andrew Paterson<\/strong> and <strong>Anu-Mall Narits<\/strong>, participants not only gained in-depth knowledge of the European market landscape but also received practical tools for building effective export strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The program launched in late December 2024 with a competitive selection process and a series of online workshops.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the mentorship of <strong>Andrew Paterson<\/strong>, participants explored core topics such as:<br>\u25aa\ufe0f Product certification requirements<br>\u25aa\ufe0f Pricing strategies<br>\u25aa\ufe0f Competitor analysis<br>\u25aa\ufe0f Market entry barriers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These sessions laid a strong foundation for the next stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The second phase was a five-day study tour to Germany (January 14\u201318), during which the group visited Warsaw, Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, and Mersstetten, covering over 4,000 kilometers in just a few days. Key highlights included:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>A visit to the Bullmer factory<\/strong> in Mersstetten, where participants explored cutting-edge automated solutions for the textile industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Participation in Heimtextil 2025<\/strong> in Frankfurt \u2014 a key international trade fair \u2014 which provided insights into market trends, competitors, and potential partners. Prior to the event, participants completed interactive assignments to help them focus on strategic opportunities and make the most of their visit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A hybrid-format workshop in Cologne<\/strong>, featuring three top-tier experts:<br>\u25aa\ufe0f <strong>Klaus Gr\u00f6nefeld<\/strong> discussed adapting products to German standards and consumer expectations.<br>\u25aa\ufe0f <strong>Anu-Mall Narits<\/strong> delivered a masterclass on neuromarketing, helping participants better understand consumer behavior and fine-tune their marketing strategies.<br>\u25aa\ufe0f <strong>Andrew Paterson<\/strong> led a session on export strategy development, focusing on unique value propositions and EU funding opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The tour culminated in a <strong>store-check in Cologne\u2019s retail chains<\/strong>, allowing companies to gain hands-on insights into the realities of the German market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\ude86\ud83d\udcac Even travel time was used productively \u2014 with onboard interactive sessions, mentoring discussions, and open networking that fostered collaboration and idea exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83e\udde9 In February and March, participants engaged in one-on-one sessions with Andrew Paterson to develop detailed export strategies.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>They analyzed their strengths and weaknesses, identified their most promising products, and explored optimal funding sources. On <strong>March 28<\/strong>, Andrew wrapped up the program by sharing final recommendations for each company\u2019s path forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc <strong>CONNECT was more than a training program<\/strong> \u2014 it became a bridge linking the Ukrainian textile sector to European markets. Participants are now equipped not just with knowledge, but with <strong>practical tools for long-term success<\/strong> in the EU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Business doesn\u2019t wait \u2014 it acts.
