Enterprise Georgia, UNDP, ESTDEV and Visionest Institute Launch “Trade Fair Assistance for SMEs in Georgia” Program for Apparel Sector

Tbilisi, Georgia - Registration is now open for entrepreneurs in the apparel sector to join the "Trade Fair Assistance for SMEs in Georgia" program, launched by United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV) and the Visionest Institute.

An Information Day was held on June 21, where Giorgi Tsimintia from UNDP and Anu-Mall Naarits, CEO of the Visionest Institute, delivered welcome speeches to attendees. The event featured a detailed presentation of the program and a question-and-answer session, moderated by Tatia Paradashvili, Training and Communications Coordinator at the Visionest Institute in Georgia.

Anu-Mall Naarits, CEO of Visionest Institute, emphasized the program’s potential impact: “Georgian fashion and design are inspirational and would undoubtedly enrich European wardrobes. We are glad to have the opportunity to amplify its reach during our first project in Georgia. We encourage everyone from the apparel sector to join us to learn how to improve your exports, benefitting from our long-term experience supporting creative sector SMEs in Estonia and Ukraine.”

This eight-month program, fully funded by the European Union, aims to enhance exports to the EU and European markets through participation in international trade fairs and B2B events. Spaces in the program are limited.
