The Visionest Institute is proud to announce the launch of its inaugural project in Georgia, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at revolutionizing the export capabilities of local SMEs in the fashion, children’s wear, and leather sectors. This strategic program is designed to sharpen the trade fair skills of these businesses, equipping them to showcase their products on the global stage and unlock new opportunities in European markets.


Following a rigorous selection process, 50 companies were chosen to participate in specialized training and mentoring activities. Due to the high caliber of applicants, an additional 7 companies were also included. The program officially commenced with an Information Day on June 21, where key figures such as Giorgi Tsimintia of UNDP and Anu-Mall Naarits, CEO of Visionest Institute, outlined the program’s objectives and structure.


Participants have already engaged in an inaugural meeting, preparing for their journey through the program’s Learning Management System, which will support their development. The official program launch is scheduled for September 10, when representatives from all participating companies will gather to begin this transformative 8-month journey.


This initiative, funded by the European Union and implemented by Visionest Institute, a contractor of the Estonian Centre for International Development, with support from UNDP Georgia and in collaboration with Enterprise Georgia, aims to boost SMEs’ exports to the EU and European markets through participation in international trade fairs and B2B events.
