Two days ago, we marked an important milestone in the CONNECT Project: the launch of the study tour to Germany for Ukrainian textile companies. This trip provides a unique opportunity to witness leading production practices, build new connections, and gain invaluable insights into the German market.

In December, after a competitive selection process, 10 top Ukrainian companies were chosen to join this transformative program, representing the best of Ukraine’s textile sector in terms of innovation, quality, and sustainability.

Before embarking on the study tour, participants took part in two intensive online workshops led by export mentor Andrew Paterson, designed to prepare them for the journey.

🔹 “Study Tour Preparation: Entering the German Textile Market”

On January 14, eight of the selected companies, accompanied by Anu-Mall Naartits, CEO of Visionest Institute, and  Andrew Paterson, began their journey to Germany. The group made the most of their long-day train journey, engaging in group discussions and personalized mentorship to address each company’s unique needs.

This study tour is more than just a trip; it’s an investment in the future of Ukraine’s textile industry. Through direct engagement with industry leaders, visits to cutting-edge facilities, and establishing new connections, participants are strengthening their professional networks and contributing to the resilience and competitiveness of Ukrainian SMEs on the global stage.
