The training, held from June 3 to 5 at the University of Georgia, was led by Martina Vazzoler, a digital export expert from the European Union with extensive experience supporting SME internationalization. Over the course of three days, participants worked through practical, business oriented sessions focused on building effective digital strategies, enhancing online presence, and entering global marketplaces with confidence and clarity.

Through hands on exercises, competitive benchmarking, and marketplace simulations, the program equipped Georgian SMEs with the skills and frameworks needed to scale their businesses internationally. The final ceremony honored their achievements while reinforcing the long term value of EU aligned learning in advancing Georgia’s private sector competitiveness.

Participants joined from Tbilisi and the regions, highlighting the national reach and inclusive approach of the initiative. The certification ceremony marked a proud moment not only for the graduates but also for Visionest Institute, as the event coincided with the one year anniversary of its work in Georgia.

The graduation marked a high point of the program, reflecting the synergy between local entrepreneurial drive, European expertise, and a shared vision for digital advancement. For the participating SMEs, it was not just the conclusion of a training- it was a strategic step forward.

This initiative, funded by the European Union and implemented by Visionest Institute, a contractor of the Estonian Centre for International Development, with support from UNDP Georgia, aims to boost SMEs’ exports to the EU and European markets through participation in international trade fairs and B2B events.
