Creative Education Export

The Georgia Education Services Export Program is designed for education and training organisations from Georgia that want to expand internationally and export their learning solutions, programmes, and services. This programme combines practical training, mentoring, and a European study visit to help your organisation build global positioning, secure international partnerships, and achieve sustainable export growth.

This project is financed and supported by the European Union. This program is organized and implemented by Visionesti Institute (EST), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Georgia, and the Estonia Centre of International Development (ESTDEV).

Who Should Apply and Why

We welcome education and training organisations from Georgia that are ready to grow internationally.

Ideal participants include:

  • Owners, founders, and CEOs seeking international positioning and export revenue.
  • Academic directors, programme managers, and curriculum developers responsible for adapting education services for international markets.
  • Marketing and communication managers managing international student recruitment, partnerships, websites, and educational materials.
  • Project managers and EdTech leads aiming to build scalable digital delivery and collaboration models.

We encourage organisations to attend together with their core management and development team to ensure alignment, shared learning, and practical implementation.

Program Objectives

By participating, your organisation will:

  • Build a clear international positioning for your education services.
  • Develop a practical Education Export Business Plan.
  • Learn how to find and secure international partners and clients.
  • Understand European education export and collaboration models.
  • Strengthen a commercial and sustainability-focused mindset.
  • Gain inspiration from successful international education case studies.

Selection and Participation

A total of seven organisations will be selected for mentoring and the European study visit.

To qualify, participants must:

  • Attend all three workshop days
  • Submit a homework assignment in the form of an Education Export Plan

Additional participants from the same organisation may join the study visit but must cover their own travel, accommodation, and meals.

Additional participants from the same company may join the study visit but must cover their own travel, accommodation, and meals.

Mentors – International Education, Innovation & Export Experts

Sigrid Laineveer

Expert in International Higher Education and University Export

Sigrid Laineveer is a senior international education professional with over 15 years of experience in higher education internationalisation and cross-border university development. Since 2007, her work has focused on developing Estonian Business School’s (EBS) activities in foreign markets, particularly Finland, and strengthening international academic and institutional partnerships.

She was a member of the founding team of the EBS Helsinki campus and served as Head of Campus from 2012 to 2025. In this role, she was responsible for strategic and operational management, cooperation with academic units, engagement with Finnish authorities, and representing EBS in Finland. Her expertise combines academic leadership, education export, and international stakeholder management.

In addition, Sigrid has been actively involved in fostering international business and education relations, including serving as Chair of the Board of the Finnish–Estonian Business Association. She has also coordinated Estonian universities’ academic programmes at the Shanghai World Expo in cooperation with ministries, universities, and international partners. As a mentor, she supports universities and education institutions in international market entry, partnership development, and sustainable international growth.

Anu-Mall Naarits

Mentor and trainer in International Development Projects, Innovation and Export Funding

Anu-Mall Naarits is an experienced international development and export programmes expert with over 20 years of experience as a trainer, mentor, and strategic advisor. She specialises in designing and implementing complex development programmes that support innovation, education export, and organisational growth.

Her international experience includes extensive work with EU programmes, USAID, UNDP, and other international donors. She has led and contributed to education, export, and innovation initiatives in Georgia, Ukraine, and across Europe, supporting higher education institutions and organisations in strengthening their international competitiveness.

Anu-Mall has been directly involved in securing and managing approximately EUR 1.6 million in international co-funding. As a mentor, she provides strategic guidance on funding mechanisms, partnership development, and project structuring, combining practical expertise with a deep understanding of international cooperation and donor-funded programmes.

Agu Remmelg

Mentor and trainer in Innovation, Leadership and Digital Transformation

Agu Remmelg is a senior innovation and leadership expert with extensive international experience across the private sector, public sector, and international organisations. His career spans executive management, policy-level engagement, and innovation-driven business development.

He has served as Director at the European Innovation Academy and is the CEO of Coursy Technology, the largest corporate e-learning platform in the Baltics. His experience includes leading innovation and digital transformation initiatives in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, as well as developing education and training services for international markets.

As a mentor, Agu focuses on strengthening leadership capacity within universities and education organisations, supporting innovation adoption, digital learning solutions, and building export readiness in rapidly evolving global environments.

Artem Daniliants

Mentor in International Growth Marketing and Education Export

Artem Daniliants is an international growth marketing and business development specialist with over 15 years of experience supporting organisations in international expansion. His core expertise lies in growth marketing, digital solutions, and go-to-market strategies for education and training providers.

Artem has worked as a trainer and consultant with educational organisations across Finland, the Nordic countries, Europe, and North America, helping institutions design and launch international education programmes. His background bridges marketing, technology, and education sector expansion.

As a mentor, Artem supports Georgian universities and education organisations in digital marketing, international sales strategy, service design, and technology-enabled growth, helping transform educational innovation into scalable global offerings.
