Visionest Institute continues scaling export opportunities for Armenian companies. The Export Acceleration Program was launched in Armenia, aimed at helping medium and large Armenian companies diversify their export destinations and enter new international markets.
The official opening of the program took place on May 7.
During the opening ceremony, Anu-Mall Naarits, CEO of Visionest Institute, congratulated the 40 selected companies chosen from nearly 60 applicants. She then presented the objectives of the program and highlighted what Armenian companies could learn from Estonia’s experience in export development and market diversification.

The opening event also featured a special guest, Marge Mardisalu-Kahar, Ambassador of Estonia to Armenia, who emphasized the importance of diversified trade relations.

“One of the key factors for a country to stand strongly on its feet is the ability to maintain diversified trade relations. Coming from Estonia, this is something we have learned over the years,” the ambassador noted during her speech.
Reflecting on Estonia’s economic experience, the ambassador spoke about the country’s transition from heavy dependence on the Russian market to the challenges posed by Russia’s economic crisis.
“The Estonian economy had to look for alternative markets. This process is often painful because, in our case, it came as a shockwave. But in the end, it strengthened our companies’ ability to improve quality and successfully enter new markets. From what I see now, there is also growing interest in this region and in Armenia. I sincerely hope this program can contribute to that as well,” she added.

The opening continued with two workshops: “Innovation and Value Creation in Export Strategy,” led by Anu-Mall Naarits, and “Essential AI Tools for Export,” led by Artem Daniliants. The sessions focused not only on theoretical knowledge but also on practical approaches to real-world export development.

The intensive program will continue through a series of online workshops with the selected companies. The program is implemented by Visionest Institute, funded by the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV), and carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
