On 5 June, the Unite for Trade program organized another business visit, this time to Novodan, in partnership with the Board Business Club. The visit became the 11th company tour organized within the program across the Zhytomyr region, continuing its mission of connecting entrepreneurs through real business experience.
Rather than organizing isolated networking events, Unite for Trade has built a consistent series of company visits that introduce entrepreneurs to a diverse range of regional manufacturers, business models, management practices, and opportunities for future cooperation. Each visit offers participants valuable insights into how successful businesses operate while fostering stronger connections within the local business community.
During this visit, participants explored Novodan’s modern garment manufacturing facility in Zhytomyr. Established in 2025 in partnership with the Danish company Dilling, the factory demonstrates how international cooperation can contribute to the development of competitive manufacturing in Ukraine. Visitors had the opportunity to observe production processes firsthand and learn about the company’s approach to operational efficiency, team management, product quality, and long-term business development.

A particularly valuable aspect of the event was the collaboration between participants of the Unite for Trade program and members of the Board Business Club. Bringing together entrepreneurs from different industries creates an environment where practical experience, new perspectives, and meaningful business relationships can emerge. Such interactions go far beyond traditional networking, encouraging open dialogue, peer learning, and mutual support.
Participants exchanged ideas on how businesses can collaborate more effectively, identify complementary strengths, strengthen local value chains, and create new opportunities for economic growth in the Zhytomyr region. These conversations reflect one of the core objectives of Unite for Trade: building a stronger regional business ecosystem through cooperation rather than competition.
The Unite for Trade team extends its sincere gratitude to the Novodan team for their openness, warm hospitality, and willingness to share their experience. We also thank all participants for their engagement, curiosity, and commitment to developing a more connected and resilient business community.
Each business visit reinforces an important lesson: when entrepreneurs meet face-to-face, explore real production facilities, and engage in honest conversations, they build trust, generate new ideas, and lay the foundation for future partnerships. These connections are essential for strengthening regional competitiveness and supporting sustainable economic development.

The Unite for Trade program is developed and implemented by Visionest Institute in Ukraine (Estonia) in cooperation with the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office under the national Diia.Business project, and the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Estonia in Zhytomyr. The program is financed by ESTDEV — the Estonian Centre for International Development.
