Export Alliance Mastery: A New Era for Ukrainian BSOs

September 26, 2024 marked a significant milestone for Ukrainian Business Support Organizations (BSOs) with the official online launch of the Export Alliance Mastery program. This innovative initiative, spearheaded by the Visionest Institute, aims to equip Ukrainian BSOs with the essential tools and knowledge to drive successful export strategies.

The opening ceremony featured esteemed speakers who emphasized the program’s importance and potential impact. Lauri Luht, Cyber Attaché, Estonian Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, and ESTDEV Head of Eastern Partnerships, delivered a keynote address highlighting that this is the first program for BSOs which is providing a whole new world of opportunities and Visionest Institute have a lot of capabilities to increase the competitiveness of the BSOs and the companies that they are supported. 

Anu-Mall Naarits, CEO of Visionest Institute, a leading coach and mentor of educational programs, underscored the program’s role in strengthening Ukraine’s export capabilities and fostering closer ties with international markets. “The ambition here is to understand how to maximise your capacity, your capacity being very good in Europe, communication, and different types of projects, understand how European BSOs are working, and benchmark yourself for them.”

Aigi Young and Maxim Chechelev, Export Alliance Mastery Project Managers at Visionest Institute, provided an overview of the program’s curriculum and objectives, emphasized the program’s focus on practical skills, mentorship, and networking opportunities to empower BSOs to effectively support their member businesses in expanding into global markets.

After the strong and very competitive selection process, ten top-level BSOs representing diverse sectors across Ukraine were selected to participate in the Export Alliance Mastery program. These organizations include:

  • Dnipropetrovsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry
  • Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry
  • NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANISATION KHARKIV INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CLUSTER
  • West Ukrainian Fashion Industry Cluster
  • Public union «Ukrainian interior design and furniture cluster «EF CLUSTER»
  • Ukrainian HoReCa Cluster
  • Regional Development Agency of Poltava Oblast “Office of European Integration”
  • Union of Entrepreneurs “STINA”
  • WEST UKRAINE DIGITAL
  • Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers

The Export Alliance Mastery program is poised to play a pivotal role in strengthening Ukraine’s export ecosystem and empowering BSOs to drive sustainable economic growth. By equipping BSOs with the necessary skills and resources, the program will enable them to provide invaluable support to their member businesses and contribute to Ukraine’s economic recovery and development.
