Within the EU4Business programme with joint funding from the European Union and the German Government, we are thrilled to announce the launch of an innovative project for Ukrainian organic food producers and the textile sector – CONNECT: Export readiness, EU network expansion and resilience enhancement of Ukrainian SMEs.

The initiative will provide support through educational business tours to leading industry exhibitions in Germany and training and individual consultations designed specifically for exporters looking to connect with business partners in EU markets.

Participation is open to two groups of companies:

✅Group 1: SMEs that produce organic food products

✅Group 2: SMEs from textile sector (producers of fibres and yarns, fabrics and knitwear, fabric production and processing, technical textiles, finished goods, specialised clothing, producers of innovative textile materials or products for local markets, eco-friendly women’s and men’s clothing, etc.)

After an open call and thorough review of all applications, we will select 20 top companies. Those chosen can expect the following over a four-month intensive program:

●      Business Tour to Germany: Each group will have separate 5-day visits.

●     Meetings with Companies and Institutions in EU Countries: Participants will gain insights and build connections.

●      Visits to Top Industry Exhibitions: Group 1 will attend BIOFACH for the organic sector, while Group 2 will visit HeimTextil for the textile sector.

●  Educational Seminars: Online and offline sessions led by industry experts designed for exporters seeking business partners in EU markets.

●      Individual Consultations: Provided by internationally certified consultants.

●      Comprehensive Marketing Activities: To help showcase companies products.

●  Individual mentoring from internationally certified consultants to develop a project aimed on attracting financing for each company, incl. EU investment funds.

●      Networking Community and Ongoing Support: Provided by the project team.

The international cooperation programme “EU4Business: SME Recovery, Competitiveness and Internationalisation” is co-financed by the European Union and the German Government and is implemented by the German federal company “Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH”.
