As part of the Unite for Trade program, a Business Club meeting in the Mastermind format took place in Berdychiv, bringing together local entrepreneurs to collaboratively address real business challenges and exchange practical insights.

The event was hosted for the second time by IT Step Academy participants, reflecting strong local engagement and growing support from the business community for the initiative.

A Working Session Focused on Real Business Needs

The meeting was designed as a highly interactive working session, where participants came prepared with specific business challenges and actively contributed to solving each other’s cases.

The Mastermind format enabled structured peer-to-peer discussion, allowing entrepreneurs to explore new perspectives, challenge assumptions, and generate actionable ideas.

Diverse Businesses, Shared Challenges

The session brought together representatives from a wide range of sectors — including advertising, retail, healthcare, interior design, agriculture, education, and business services. Despite the diversity, many of the challenges discussed reflected common realities faced by small and medium-sized businesses.

Among the key topics raised by participants:

  • Managing seasonality and stabilising sales flows in service-based businesses
  • Promoting preventive healthcare services beyond traditional marketing tools
  • Understanding evolving customer needs in housing and interior design
  • Attracting investment and grant funding for agricultural ventures
  • Scaling small businesses and developing long-term growth strategies
  • Workforce challenges, including employee retention and talent attraction
  • Business adaptation and repositioning in response to market changes
  • Building partnerships and securing external support for educational initiatives

The Value of Collective Intelligence

The Mastermind format proved effective in fostering deep engagement among participants. Each business case was examined from multiple angles, drawing on the diverse expertise within the group.

This approach not only helped generate practical solutions but also demonstrated the power of collective thinking in addressing complex entrepreneurial challenges.

Strengthening the Social Dimension

A notable aspect of the meeting was the participation of veteran entrepreneurs, whose involvement adds an important social dimension to the Unite for Trade program.

Their presence highlights the role of entrepreneurship as a pathway for reintegration, resilience, and long-term economic contribution.

Building a Stronger Local Business Community

Overall, the meeting reaffirmed the effectiveness of the Business Club format as a tool for supporting entrepreneurs and strengthening local business communities.

By creating a space for open dialogue, experience sharing, and peer support, Unite for Trade continues to contribute to the development of a more connected and resilient entrepreneurial ecosystem in Berdychiv.
