As part of the Unite for Trade program, our participants had an inspiring business visit on March 19. This was the 8th visit in a series to various companies within our program. The visit took place at LESYA, a leading textile manufacturing company in Zviahel.
PrJSC VKF “Lesya” – one of the well-known light industry manufacturing companies in the Zhytomyr region. The company has been operating in Zvyagel since 1965 and has many years of experience in cooperation with European partners in the field of premium-quality clothing production. Over the decades, the company has formed a powerful production base, a professional team and a reputation as a reliable partner for international brands.
Today, LESYA is a modern production facility equipped with high-tech equipment from leading world brands Juki, Yamato, JAM, Assys, PFAFF, modified in accordance with production needs by Konrad Busche. A CAD system is used to automate processes, ensuring accuracy, stable product quality and production efficiency.
In 2023, the company opened a branch in Zhytomyr, expanding production capabilities and creating additional jobs in the region.

During the visit, participants had the opportunity to observe LESYA’s production process firsthand, gaining insight into the company’s workflow, automation systems, and quality control procedures. Following the tour, attendees joined a discussion with the founder of LESYA, Mr. Mykola Sychenko, where they explored the company’s journey, challenges, and strategies for growth. This combination of a production tour and founder interaction provided a complete view of the business — from operational processes to strategic decision-making.
