Creating Export Training Platform in Ukraine

Creating Export Training Platform in Ukraine project is developed by Visionest Institute Estonia and implemented in cooperation with Ukraine’s Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office within the framework of the Diia.Business Ukrainian national project.

The aim of the programme is to create a training platform that can be integrated into the DIIA system to quickly and efficiently train exporters in Ukraine to increase their export capacity. The Enterpreneurship and Export Promotion Office (EEPO) will have a training environment where it will be possible to organise effective export training easily and at low cost in the future.

The project will set up and test out the training platform logic to deliver training efficiently and effectively so that participating SMEs can implement what they have learned as effectively as in our previous training projects. Similarly, it will be important to create a method where participants will have a network and a channel to ask for further information.
In addition, this platform will help to introduce Ukrainian export trainers in order to generate interest in their trainings and to increase their experience and the economic sustainability of their export training and consulting companies.

 

Impact

Direct beneficiaries of the project:

• The training programme will be attended by 20 trainers who have graduated from the Export Academy, have practical experience in enhancing the export capacity of companies and recognise the technical need for the platform to be set up.
• The pilot training will be delivered to 100 export-oriented SMEs, selected from a variety of sectors and with a gender balance of 50% women entrepreneurs.
• The Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office (EEPO) is the only organisation in Ukraine working on increasing the export efficiency of enterprises, and the LMS we are creating will ensure the sustainability of export training for them. EEPO integrates LMS
  Diia platform in order to continue export training independently.

Indirect beneficiaries of the project:

• At least 200 VKEs will complete the Export Training Program of the Export Academy per year after the end of our program, which is a sufficient number to have an impact on Ukraine’s exports and development.
• Companies in need of export trainers (estimated 5,000 exporting SMEs in need of a more systematic approach).
• BSOs in need of export trainers for initial export training of their staff and members (about 90 organisations according to EEPO).

 

Participants’ satisfaction is measured on a regular basis at the end of each training module. The results will be published after the end of the project.
