Over a year has passed since the graduation of the second stream of export consultants within the Program Train the Trainers, and we traditionally inquired about the new achievements of our graduates or how the program has influenced their professional activities, and whether they have managed to reach new heights thanks to their training.

According to the survey, we received 34 responses from 55 graduates and are happy to share the results of the long-term impact of the program.

Over a year after completing the program:

  • More than 300 Ukrainian companies received export assistance within 1 year after completing the Train the Trainers 2.0 program, and this in the context of the war.
  • 75% of Train the Trainers 2.0 graduates receive additional income from 10% to over 80% of their total time by providing paid export consulting services. This is a testament to the significant impact of the program on their careers and businesses.
  • Unfortunately, ⅓ of the training participants were forced to leave the country due to the start of hostilities in 2022 and continue their professional activities online, which indicates the need to continue developing the export consulting market in Ukraine.

Here are some interesting figures from the survey that allow us to be sure of the significant impact of the program on the development of export and consulting skills of the participants:

  • High level of knowledge acquisition: the average self-assessment of participants’ export skills is 8.2/10, and consulting skills – 8.4/10.
  • Change in career trajectory: most participants (87%) actively apply the acquired knowledge in practice, having founded their own agencies, found employment in consulting companies or become freelance consultants.
  • Positive impact on career and business: 91% of participants say that the program has had a positive impact on their career or business, 65% describe this impact as “significant”, and 9% – as “life-changing”.
  • 68% of participants note that the tools and knowledge from the program helped them increase their consulting sales and annual income.
  • Almost all (95%) respondents indicated that they use some or most of the tools received during training in their professional activities.

However, there are also problems in this area:

  • The war in Ukraine and the lack of funds among clients (24%) remain key obstacles to the development of the consulting market.
  • 6% of participants report being overloaded with other projects and the unwillingness of clients to pay for information, which indicates the need to raise awareness of the value of consulting services.
  • The excess of grant programs (6%) also affects the market, creating competition for paid consulting services.

Despite the negative external factors, we can confidently summarize that everything was not in vain – the graduates of the program are actively implementing the acquired knowledge in life, they continue to develop and provide valuable support to businesses.

We are proud of each and we always stay close by!
