On June 26, a momentous occasion took place in Kyiv as the Ukraine Rebuilding Task Force – an international educational program officially concluded with a grand ceremony. The event was attended by both in-person and online participants, including program alumni, donors, partners, and all those committed to Ukraine’s reconstruction.

Ukraine Rebuilding Task Force transcended its role as an intensive training program, evolving into a platform for networking and a breeding ground for tangible projects aimed at rebuilding the nation. This initiative is a symbol of resilience in difficult times. We are proud that hundreds of Ukrainian specialists – architects, engineers, marketers, lawyers, economists – have joined the programme and are not indifferent to such initiatives.

Ukraine Rebuilding Task Force in Numbers:

  • 730+ applications from all corners of Ukraine
  • 300 participants underwent a rigorous selection process, with 200+ reaching the finals and receiving an EU-recognized certificate
  • 100+ individuals received personalized support from digital mentors
  • 6 international trainers from Estonia, Finland, Italy, the UK, and Germany, alongside 20 digital mentors
  • 5 full-fledged investment projects developed by regional teams under the guidance of mentors from Germany, Estonia, and Finland

Showcasing Innovation and Commitment:

The most active participants formed five teams from 5 different regions of Ukraine:

  • East: “The digital hub for Ukraine’s recovery”
  • South: “Civil Center for Rural Communities”
  • Kyiv: “Ukraine infrastructure investments”
  • West: “Transcarpathian business and investment facilitation center”
  • Central: “Innovative Modular Waste Processing Complex”

Project presentations showcased the teams’ ingenuity and dedication, highlighting their potential to drive positive change in Ukraine.

Early Success Stories:

Even before the program’s conclusion, there was exciting news regarding the practical application of acquired knowledge in international reconstruction projects. The URTF team is thrilled to congratulate “Alexander&I,” a participating construction company, on winning a tender from the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV) to build houses in the Zhytomyr region.
